Biography
I was born in 1981 in Kent where I have lived all my life, currently in the Cinque Port town of Sandwich, an inspiring place for medieval architecture.

I am a self taught artist, influenced by the work of David Shepherd, Colin Bradley and the late Simon Combes, hence my attraction to wildlife.

I decided to spurn university to plough my own furrow, painting and drawing - initially doing commissions of pets and houses for friends and family. Since then, my work has sold all over the world and in April 2005 I registered myself as a full time professional artist.

I pursue realism and accuracy in my work, while striving to capture the essence of life in my subjects (those that are alive of course!) with graphite and pastel pencil my chosen media.

Although best known for my wildlife art, I try to stay as versatile as possible, preferring not to pigeonhole myself to one theme. I welcome commissions of all kinds - from portraiture to pets, transport to architecture.
